Kenyan food is delicious because of the spices and herbs used in preparing it. Most of the spices and seasoning are made of cinnamon, clove, Cardamon, ginger, garlic and turmeric.
The stews and sauces are mostly onion based and garnished with cilantro.
Most of the meals are associated with a specific tribe. Fish for the Luo, matoke for the Kisii, Pilau for the people from coast and Mukimo for the Kikuyu.
Ugali is the staple food for Kenyans and it’s made from corn and served with stews and vegetables.
